Q- Why does the DOA security guard get annoyed with Percy?
A- Charon gets annoyed because of Percy not pronouncing his name right.
Q- How does Charon realise they are not dead?
A- Charon uses his senses and sniffs them out.
Q- How does Percy finally convince Charon to let him on the elevator?
A- Percy persuades him by bribeing him with drocmas, and convincing him to try get Hades to give him a pay rise.
Q- What dos the River Styx look like?
A- The River Styx is surrounded with bones, oily water, and dirty plastic dolls, and soggy diplomas. Humans have been throwing in all of thier failed hopes and dreams.
Q- Describe the entrance to the Underworld?
A- The entrance looks like a cross between an airport runway, and a Spaghetti Junction with 3 entranceways all centered under a black archway. Surrounded in metal detecters and cameras.

A- Percy plan is to distract Ceberus, by playing fetch.

A- Annabeth has had experience with dogs because she used to have one herself.
Q- What does Percy realise about monsters at the end of this chapter?
A- Percy realises that monsters need attention every once in a while.
