Chapter 19

Q- What does the Field of Asphodel look like?
A- Imagine the largest concert crowd you've ever seen, a football field packed with a million fans. Now imagine a field 1 million times that big, packed with people, and the electricity has gone out. There is no light, and no beachball bouncing around.

Q- What do you have to do to enter the Isles of the Blest? 
A- To enter the Isles Of The Blest, you have to choose to be reborne three times.

Q- How do Grover, Percy and Annabeth end up at the pit of Tartarus? 
A- The shoes that Luke gave to Percy, suddenly started dragging Grover towards the pit.

Q- How is Hades’ aura different than Ares?  How does Percy feel when he’s in Hades’ presence?
A- Hades' aura is different to Ares in a way beacause Percy felt like Hades should be giving him orders. And Hades radiates power.

Q- Describe the guards at Hades’ palace. 
A-  The skeleton guards at Hades' palace were dressed in military gear, armed with weapons.

Q- What sort of problems does Hades complain about? 
A- Hades complains about the lack of space in Asphodel, and how he has to keep opening up new subdivisions. 

Q-Why was Percy’s backpack getting heavy? 
A- Percys backpack was getting heavier, because the closer he got to Hades, the faster the bolt was appearing in his backpack.
Q- What terrible choice faces Percy when he decides to use the pearls? Would you have made the same choice he does? Why or why not? 
A- Percy has the choice of saving 3 out of 4 people. Himself, Grover, Annabeth or his mum. If i was Percy I would have done the same thing, but I definately would return to get my mum.

Q- How do Annabeth and Grover prove themselves to be real friends to Percy? 
A- Annabeth and Grover prove themselves by urging Percy to sacrafise themselves to save his mother.
 Q- What is the power of the pearls?
 A-  The pearls are used to save somones life. They return you to the sea.
